Thank you for creating a forum to discuss specialised issues on AFS!
I take the following supplements for adrenal fatigue:
1. Vitamin C (2000 mg per day) 2. B5 (1000 mg per day) 3. B12 (50 ug per day as 100 ug was stressful on the adrenals) 4. Zinc (11mg per day as higher amounts were stressful on the adrenals) 5. SSRI (10mg Citraz daily - Before I knew about AFS, I was being treated for depression with SSRI. I am trying to reduce the dosage slowly)
In 2016, I tried supplementing with Rhodiola and later with L-Theanine but I developed depression on both occasions. I understand these can be stimulants and hence the adverse effects experienced.
However, I experienced the same condition (depression) when taking Ashwagandha (500mg Himalaya brand) . Any advice why this happened as Ashwagandha is known to support AFS?

when you are in the advanced stages of afs, herbs can cause adverse reactions. it is better off to do a hair test and just take vitamins and minerals

Thanks, will continue with the vitamins stated above. Are there any other vitamins/minerals that you recommend above and beyond what has already been stated?
