Hi,
first I want to thank you for creating this website. I am from Germany and according to my doctor I also suffer from adrenal fatique. I am 23 years old, male.
I have been suffering since my childhood. My father and my sister have similar symptoms so I think it`s genetic. In my whole life I only had like 3-5 days where I felt alive and normal. But I can`t say what I did there so that I felt normal.
I want to list some of my symptoms which are important:
- No energy, lack of motivation
- Underweight (I just can`t gain weight, no matter what I do)
- difficulty feeling happiness or sadness (emotionally numb)
- depression, anxiety, nervous, stress intolerance
- light sensivity, can`t concentrate, brain fog
- sensivity to cold and warm temperature
- allergies
- can`t sweat, dry skin, frequent urinationdysbiosis
I made a Cortisol-DHEA-Salvia test before (3 months ago), the results are:
Cortisol-Morning (8:15am): 16.20 + ng/ml (reference range 1.00 - 11.30)
Cortisol-Midday (2:45pm): 2.54 ng/ml (reference range 0.30 - 5.70)
Cortisol-Evening (6:45pm): 1.54 ng/ml (reference range 0.30 -3.30)
DHEA-Evening (6:45pm): 639.0 + pg/ml (reference range 104.0-578.0)
Cortisol is high in the morning, which means there`s stress in the night.
At the moment I take Novothyral (T4 and T3) for my hypothyroidism (which doesnt make me feel any better, my diagnosis: TSH 2.4mE/l, FT3 4.3ng/l, FT4 1.2ng/dl) and Hydrocortison 10mg/a day (I began taking Hydrocortison 3 days ago). I don`t see any improvement with my symptoms by taking Hydrocortison so far, nothing noticable that much. My doctor also gave me Prednisolon 5mg in case Hydrocortison doesn`t make me feel better after 1 month.
So my questions are:
Is it okay that I take Hydrocortison, even though I have high Cortisol in the moring?
One of the most intresting thing is that I dont`t sweat! My skin is dry. By searching in your website I learned it is because of lack of Aldosteron. What can I do about it ?
I was looking forward to order Pregnenolon (which is the mother of all hormones). What do you think about it? Will it fix the Aldosteron problem (lack of sweat) too ?
My Doctor also recommended L-Lysin 500mg along other things and I was going to order another Salvia test for Estradiol, Progesteron and Testosteron. Should I go for it?
My diagnosis:
- chronic lyme disease
- chlamydia infection
- Vitamin-receptor-D blockade (chronic active infections)
- dysbiosis of the gut
- food allergies
- problem with spine
- Adynamia
I would be happy if you can answer my questions and help me
Have a nice day.
