just surfaced into this AF and it's really scary. Must have had it a long time and it's why I retired after collapsing at my desk. That was a few years ago and did not know what was going on.ddoc had me on pregabalin in 2014 , thought I was on my way out due to allergic reactions and 5 emergency visits to hospital that year when I took convulsions because of it . Feel it mucked my naeurotransmitters up as been worse since. Wide spread pain anxiety tinnitus muscle spasms , iiritable frustrated all the rest feeling trapped and lost . Doc no good and been to many therapist. Now with naturopath . Got supplements amendments to diet . Can anyone relate to this . Force myself to do things then collapse. Must have a hot shower in morning and night. It's like fighting with yourself to survive. As jimi Hendrix sang, there must be some way out of this. Love to hear if anyone relates for a bit encouragement. Many thanks .

Hi, Just want to send you some words of encouragement. I'm also a newbie with a history of severe allergic reactions. There's a lot of information out there, and it takes time to absorb and make sense of all of it. I think a naturopathic doctor is a good start. Diet is key. Good luck!

Thanks for replying . Really appreciate that. It just seems that these days got to do all yourself.since my post gone down with near pneumonia , docs words not mine , and put on prednisolone , 6 in one go and antibiotics and ventolin. HadECG etc. Breathing difficult. Bit wary of the steroids but in catch 22 situation. Some retirement. My wife also I'll in bed too. Wish you well.

Hi johnsonsyard, I hope you check back and see my post, I know it’s been some days since you posted, unfortunately there’s not much activity here. I don’t know of any other active forums at the moment. It would be nice if others took the time to write in as well. Adrenal fatigue, exhaustion whatever you want to call it, causes a multitude of issues in the body. Most people never figure it out, western trained doctors speak little of adrenals, so often you have to become your own researcher and doctor. Dr. Wilson has extensive website based on the work he did with Dr. Eck on adrenals. Through hair mineral analysis you can rebalance the autonomic nervous system. To really solve your adrenal issues you need to read and develop an understanding of how important the adrenal glands and a balanced autonomic nervous system are to health. Here’s a link to his site at the allergy page drlwilson.com/Articles/allergies.htm This is a great link to show how many symptoms there are related to adrenal dysfunction and there’s more too. www.adrenaladvice.com/adrenal-fatigue-symptoms.shtml Here’s the homepage drlwilson.com/ to start a program or read some articles etc. It can definitely be overwhelming to take in if you’re new to it and details of how the body works isn’t a main interest. Also go on Youtube and search videos. and if you haven’t already found Feo’s site www.adrenaladvice.com/ A hair test for aprox $150. will give you great insight to your adrenal function, the health of your gut, your autonomic nervous system balance etc. Personally I crashed my adrenals back in 2012, taking thyroid meds, thinking that was the “answer” when in fact looking back I’ve had adrenals issues at least since I was a teen, 57 now. Adrenals effect how everything runs in the body. When I stressed my adrenals with thyroid meds for the fist time in my life I experienced panic attacks and “air hunger” never having anything like this before. Later on I developed low blood pressure to where several days it was so low I couldn’t stand, this was scary stuff and I didn’t have any confidence that going to the doctor would help me, no I don’t have a heart problem, nor am I depressed and need an antidepressant etc. It has been a wild ride. But I can say today that understanding that my adrenals have been overstressed and now totally depleted has been of great benefit and I’ve learned so much. I really feel I’m finally on the road to correcting and healing my body. I’m someone who has run on adrenaline all my life constantly pushing at work and play now I’m working to get back my stamina BUT also realize it was my lifestyle among other things that got me here so doing things differently going forward is a must. Hey hope you see this and can find some help. The real answers aren’t always easy to find. Oh one last thing that I find very telling, the blood pressure test. For directions scan down the page to "testing adrenal gland function, try this at home" Here's the link www.precisionnutrition.com/what-do-the-adrenal-glands-do (I only googled this link for BP directions didn't read their info) A blood pressure cuff is cheap these days buy one from Costco or Amazon etc. and track where your pressure is and if it drops or goes up when you stand is very telling. All those years I had low BP and was told it was healthy..not so. shoot for 120/80. Write back and let us know how you’re feeling after the bout with pneumonia.

Hi, a year and a half later. I hope you have found some answers. It is a complex, little understood, yet not uncommon condition. Most MDs do not recognize it at all. Google and read, looking for answers. Even alternative practitioners vary in their understanding. Do ask if they are experienced in treating this condition. It is possible to be better, but takes great effort and commitment. It is also possible to just stay sick, if no answers are found, no changes made. Good luck on all.
